Do you feel like you deserve more at work? Perhaps your better half doesn’t actually make you better at all? Well, you are not alone. We have all settled at one point in life or another. Someone has been mean to us and we have taken it. Someone passed us up for a promotion and we’ve stayed silent not to upset the system. A boyfriend or girlfriend tried to suppress our true personality to custom fit their life. My motto for 2019 is the title of this post. My aim is higher ground. So I want you my friends, to soak this in as well. You are a child of God and therefore you automatically deserve the best. You don’t need lengthy credentials or fancy degrees to prove your worth when it comes to how people treat you. You deserve to be treated kind and with respect. And you have a “good human” obligation to also treat others this way. So when someone wants to talk smack about you, pass you over, or treat you less than …. remember, your aim is higher ground. You don’t need to stoop down to their level, because your aim is higher ground. You don’t need cause trouble in an effort to even up the score card, because your aim is higher ground. You don’t need to settle at work, at home, in life … because your aim is higher ground. There is an old saying about the higher the hair, the closer you are to heaven. Well, when it comes to your soul … the higher your aim, the closer you are to God.
This really blessed me. Now I must change the perspective of my aim. I am Aiming Higher!

Wow! I was looking for information for the Road Trippin’ 2020 presentation and came across this. I must say I believe GOD put me in this direction because I REALLY REALLY needed this today. This put me in a much better frame of mind for the rest of today. Thank you so much Nicole. (I’m writing this with tears in my eyes over the miracle of the Lord).
